Infinite Real Estate, Brokerage (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates infinitereb.ca (the “Site”) and provides real estate brokerage services in Ontario, Canada. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard personal information, in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), Canada’s anti-spam legislation (CASL), our obligations under the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act (PCMLTFA) as regulated by FINTRAC, and the standards of the Real Estate Council of Ontario (RECO) under the Trust in Real Estate Services Act, 2002 (TRESA).
1.Privacy Officer
We have designated a Privacy Officer responsible for our compliance with this Policy and applicable privacy law:
Infinite Real Estate, Brokerage30 Powerhouse Street, Toronto, ON M6H 0C6

Attn: Derick Amoako, Broker of Record / Privacy Officer
2.Information We Collect
When you contact us through this Site we collect the information you enter in the form: your name, email address, phone number where you provide one, your message, and which page you submitted it from.
If you create an account we collect your email address and authentication data.
While you are signed in we record which property listings you view, and your agent can see that record. We do not record the listings viewed by visitors who are not signed in, and we do not connect earlier anonymous browsing to your account.
Automatically, as you browse we collect usage data (pages visited, features used) and device and browser information, together with cookies and similar technologies described in section 8.
If you go on to become a client — that is, if we represent you in a purchase, sale or lease — we collect more, through your agent rather than through this website:
- Property requirements and search criteria (budget, timing, preferred locations)
- Household and representation details, including whether you are already working with another registrant
- Financial and employment information where it forms part of an offer or application
- Government-issued identification, where required to verify your identity before a transaction
- Communications between you and our agents
We collect only the personal information reasonably necessary for the purposes described below, and we seek your meaningful consent before or at the time of collection.
3.Why We Collect It
We use personal information to:
- Respond to your enquiry and put you in touch with a member of our team
- Provide real estate services, including representing you in a purchase, sale or lease
- Verify identity and meet our record-keeping and reporting obligations under FINTRAC and the PCMLTFA (see section 4)
- Meet our professional obligations as a brokerage regulated by RECO under TRESA
- Send you service-related communications, such as appointment confirmations and updates on an active matter
- With your consent, send you marketing communications about listings, market updates or services (see section 5)
- Maintain and improve the security and performance of the Site
- Comply with applicable law and respond to lawful requests from regulators or law enforcement
4.FINTRAC and Anti-Money Laundering Obligations
As a real estate brokerage, Infinite Real Estate, Brokerage is a “reporting entity” under the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act and is regulated by FINTRAC. Where our agents are involved in the receipt of funds (such as deposits) or the representation of a party in a transaction that meets FINTRAC’s thresholds, we are legally required to:
- Verify the identity of clients using government-issued identification or other prescribed methods
- Keep client identification records and, where applicable, receipt-of-funds records
- Conduct ongoing monitoring of business relationships where required
- Report certain transactions, including large cash transactions and suspicious transactions, to FINTRAC
Personal information collected for these purposes is retained for the period required by law and is not used for any other purpose without your consent, except as permitted or required by law. It is disclosed to FINTRAC only as legally mandated, and is not shared with any other third party for marketing or unrelated purposes.
5.Marketing Communications and CASL
We send marketing and promotional communications — for example new listing alerts or market updates — only to individuals who have provided express or implied consent in accordance with Canada’s anti-spam legislation (CASL). Every marketing message we send:
- Identifies Infinite Real Estate, Brokerage as the sender, with our contact information
- Includes a clear and functioning unsubscribe mechanism
You may withdraw your consent to marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, or by contacting us at info@infinitereb.com. Withdrawing consent to marketing does not affect transactional or service-related communications necessary to administer your account or an active matter.
6.RECO / TRESA and Your Real Estate Relationship
Infinite Real Estate, Brokerage and its registered salespersons are regulated by the Real Estate Council of Ontario (RECO) under the Trust in Real Estate Services Act, 2002 (TRESA). Before we represent you or provide services in connection with a specific property, our agents are required to explain, in writing, the nature of our relationship with you — for example whether we represent you, the other party, or both parties to a transaction — using the disclosure forms and processes mandated by TRESA. This Privacy Policy does not replace, and should be read alongside, those mandatory written disclosures.
7.How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with:
- Our own registered salespersons and brokerage staff, as necessary to respond to you and provide services
- Service providers who help us operate the Site under contract and only for the purposes we specify, currently Supabase (database hosting and authentication), Resend (email delivery) and Vercel (website hosting)
- Other brokerages and their registrants, where necessary to advance a transaction you have asked us to act on
- Regulators and government authorities, including FINTRAC, RECO and the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board (TRREB), where required by law or by board rules
- Professional advisors, such as legal and accounting, where necessary
- Meta Platforms, to measure our advertising, as described in section 8
- A party to a business transaction such as a merger or sale, subject to equivalent privacy protections
8.Cookies and Tracking
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the Site is used. Where required, we will present a cookie consent banner allowing you to manage non-essential cookies. You can also control cookies through your browser settings.
We use Google Analytics to see how people use the Site — which pages are visited, and how visitors arrive. We do not send Google your name, email address, phone number, or anything you type into a form on this Site.
We use the Meta Pixel, from Meta Platforms, to measure how our advertising on Facebook and Instagram performs. It tells Meta when a page on this Site is visited, when an enquiry is sent, and when an account is created. The Pixel itself does not send Meta your name, email address, phone number, or anything you type into a form on this Site.
When you send an enquiry through a form that says so, or create an account, our server also tells Meta that an enquiry was sent or an account was created, using Meta’s Conversions API. With it we send your email address and phone number in hashed form: each is turned into a code (a SHA-256 hash), so the email address and phone number themselves are not sent, but Meta can compare the code with the details on a Facebook or Instagram account. We also send your IP address, your browser type, and the identifier the Meta Pixel keeps in your browser. Meta uses these to match the enquiry or sign-up to an account, so we can see which of our ads led to it, and to count each one only once. Enquiries may also be used to build advertising audiences, for example to stop showing our ads to people who have already sent us an enquiry, within Meta’s rules for housing ads. We never send Meta your name, your message, the home, area or price you asked about, or the address of the page you were on.
In short, Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel help us measure visits to the Site and the results of our advertising, and neither is sent your name, email address or phone number. When you send an enquiry or create an account, Meta is also sent your email address and phone number in hashed form, as described above, to measure our ads and, for enquiries, to build ad audiences; never your name or what you wrote. To opt out, you can block or delete cookies in your browser’s settings, control the ads Meta shows you in Meta’s Ad preferences, and disconnect this information from your account in Meta’s Accounts Center, under Your activity off Meta technologies. You can also ask our Privacy Officer at info@infinitereb.com to stop sending it for you.
We use the Meta Pixel and Google Analytics to build audiences of people who visited the Site, so we can show them our ads on Facebook and Instagram and on Google’s advertising networks. Meta and Google are told the pages visited and that an enquiry was sent or an account was created, and Google is also told the area searched, as the place matched rather than the words typed. Neither is sent the contents of a form or your name. Google is not sent your email address or phone number; Meta receives them only in hashed form, as described above. Google may connect these visits to the Google account you are signed in to, according to your Google settings. These audiences are kept for up to 180 days.
To opt out, you can use Meta’s Ad preferences, Google’s Ad settings and the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, or clear the cookies in your browser.
When you type a street address into the search bar on our home-search pages, your browser sends what you typed directly to MapTiler AG, our map provider, to find that street on the map. We do not store what you typed or the result; the map simply moves there. MapTiler’s own privacy policy applies to that request.
When you type your address into the home valuation form on our Sell page, your browser sends what you typed directly to Google, through Google Maps Platform, to suggest matching addresses. This is separate from Google Analytics. The address you choose, with its postal code and map coordinates, is saved with your valuation request so a broker can prepare for it; the suggestions themselves are not kept. Google’s own privacy policy applies to that request.
9.Data Security and Retention
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we hold, including encrypted data transmission, role-based access controls and database-level security policies. We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy, satisfy our FINTRAC and TRESA record-keeping obligations, or as required by law, after which it is securely deleted or anonymized.
10.Your Rights
Under PIPEDA, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we hold about you and why
- Access your personal information and request corrections
- Withdraw consent to certain uses, subject to legal or contractual restrictions
- File a complaint about our handling of your personal information
To exercise these rights, contact our Privacy Officer at info@infinitereb.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.
11.Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal obligations. We will post the updated policy on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
